On Saturday, May 28, 2016, we held a seminar at the JICA Chikyu Hiroba 10th Anniversary Thanksgiving Day
In the seminar, Akinori Seki, Associate Professor at Tokyo Keizai University, introduced the objectives and activities of the International Student Exchange Program, which JICA has been focusing on in recent years, and theoretically explained the new cultural learning model that supports the program. Then, student assistant Yuba Yoshikawa (Sophia University, Faculty of Global Studies, 2nd year) analyzed the student exchange program in Nepal (Mero Sathi Project, 2016), which she participated in February, based on the new cultural exchange model introduced by Akinori Seki. On the day of the event, Mr. Tsuyoshi Kitazawa, the director of the Japan Football Federation and a former member of the Japanese national soccer team, Mr. Sakana-kun, who is popular in the tea room, and many celebrities such as ambassadors of various countries participated in the event, and we were able to exchange valuable information. Many of our student members also participated in this event.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped us.
