The event featured a report on the Nepal program held in February last year, an introduction to the Vietnam program last year, a keynote speech by Representative Director Seki, and a panel discussion.

In the Nepal program, I was particularly impressed by the heated discussion on the caste system between Nepalese and Japanese. It was clear to me that there are ways of thinking and opinions that can be learned through serious discussions, and I thought that one of the advantages of this tour is that it allows people of all nationalities to passionately exchange opinions on a single issue.

In the panel discussion, four past tour participants shared their experiences and opinions on the theme of "What is important to build a partnership?

All of the tour participants seemed to think about "human connections" the most, and it was an opportunity to reaffirm that the AAEE's tours place the greatest emphasis on student exchanges.

Participants who are planning to go to Japan this year may have been able to visualize the features of this tour more concretely through the presentations and videos.
The event was also fully booked with many members of the public in attendance. I believe that we were able to have a very wide range of discussions with questions and opinions from various aspects.
