From August 16 to August 31, we successfully conducted a student exchange program in various locations across Vietnam as part of VJEP 2018.
Twenty VJEP members journeyed together, sharing meals and lodging from the outset. The initial trepidation and tension during the opening ceremony evolved into camaraderie, culminating in an emotional farewell at the closing party. Gathered in a circle, memories of the two weeks welled up, underscoring the profound connections forged.
The program also deepened our understanding of the central theme, "Poverty and Education." We anticipate the forthcoming debriefing session, scheduled for November 17 at JICA Chikyu Hiroba, where VJEP members will share their experiences and learnings over the two weeks.
Though our time together lasted a mere fortnight, we aspire to sustain the friendships kindled through VJEP for the next decade or even longer. United as global partners, we endeavor to construct bridges between our nations, contributing to worldwide development!
