From August 17 to August 29, 2025, the Mero Sathi Project 2025: August Nepal Study Tour was successfully conducted.
Participating students engaged in a series of collaborative activities focused on the theme of education, working closely with carefully selected Nepali students across various regions of Nepal.
Throughout the program, students stayed in diverse settings, including urban areas, remote mountain villages inhabited by the Magar community, and historic cities that symbolize Nepal's rich cultural heritage. Through these experiences, participants deepened their understanding of educational diversity and educational disparities within the country.
Most importantly, Japanese and Nepali students lived, studied, and shared daily life together throughout the entire program. By spending every moment side by side, they formed deep and lasting bonds that transcended national and cultural boundaries.
