Our president, Prof. Akinori Seki, was invited as a panelist to the "Horasis Global Meeting," which will be held in Gaziantep, Turkey, from October 22nd to 24th, 2023. This international conference is organized by Horasis, an international think tank based in Switzerland, and is expected to be the world's largest international summit this year, with approximately 500 leaders from various fields, including ministers from around the world, in attendance.
President Seki, as the only Japanese representative, will participate in discussions with leaders from around the world on one of the main themes, "Recovering Time, Education, and Productivity Lost to COVID". Additionally, the meeting will also assess the impact of the Turkey-Syria earthquake that occurred on February 6, 2023, and engage in discussions about the future of international cooperation and SDGs' Global Partnership for SDG 17.
